This year we had the pleasure of visiting Dutch Wonderland during the Dutch Winter Wonderland season for the first time! We got ourselves all bundled up and were ready for the opening day of this season!
We had a great time enjoying different rides (not me, I got to watch everyone on the rides) and even though not all of the rides were open there was still a great variety of rides to go on that each one of my children could enjoy.

We also enjoyed going over the bridge to Exploration island. I loved that the dinosaurs were "dressed up" and included different holidays and traditions at each one.

A *must do* ride during your trip to Dutch Wonderland, is the train! It is especially fun because while you are on your tour around you get to see all the beautiful light displays and holiday decorations around the park (go when the sun is down!).
Some other great things that are going on are various shows that the kids always enjoy, you can visit Santa and get a picture with him, and there's also a cool play area for younger kids with "ice blocks".
There are still 3 weekends left to visit! It would be a great gift for your family or maybe to gift to another family if you are looking for ideas. As always, I think experiences are better than toys!
