💕Happy Valentine's Day!💕
I know there are mixed feelings on Valentine's Day. There's the camp that hates it and says it's a made-up holiday and there's the camp that is totally into it and soaks up every moment of Valentine's Day expecting all the things, chocolate, roses, cards and more! While I used to be in the camp of, "We should be showing our love to our spouse or significant other every day!" (and I still am), I have moved on to appreciate Valentine's Day a bit more now. I see it more as an extra opportunity to show extraordinary love to those we love in our life! Why not have a day just to show over the top love?! There have been years where I wrote individual Valentine's to my children, just telling them all the things I love about them and there have been years, like this one, where...I haven't made anything or bought anything for them (or my husband) but plan to just enjoy the day with them and maybe making some special treats.
Whatever you are doing this Valentine's Day, big or small, enjoy each and every moment! Show some extra love to those in your life today! Say "I love you" a few more times than normal, you can never say that too much!
