It's springtime so it's time for our families to get active again! What a better way than heading to your Akron, Ephrata, New Holland, and Morgantown PA's local community parks. I've listed 5 of my family's top picks for parks to visit! We have not visited Historic Pool Forge but it is on our bucket list as soon as the weather cooperates! We hope you enjoy them as much as we do!

I just love this park and consider this one of the most beautiful parks, I have ever been to. You can hike, walk, bike, or jog on their trails. They have picnic facilities that can seat 2 to 200. As you turn in to the entrance you will see the fishing and ice-skating pond (winter). Tennis courts for day and night play. They also have volleyball and basketball courts. Over 70 acres in total! A beautiful tot's playground and an 18-hole disc golf course. There is something for the whole family to do at the Loyd H Roland Memorial Park http://www.akron-pa.com/parksroland.html
